• Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanners for at least 2–4 weeks before treatment
• Shave the area 24 hours prior to your appointment (do not wax, pluck, or epilate)
• Avoid retinol, acids, exfoliants, and active skincare on the treatment area for 5–7 days before
• Refrain from blood-thinning medications or supplements where medically appropriate
• Arrive with clean, product-free skin on the treatment area
Following your session, your technician will provide personalized aftercare instructions. General recommendations include:
• Expect mild redness or warmth, which usually subsides within 24–48 hours
• Avoid heat exposure (hot showers, saunas, intense exercise) for 24–48 hours
• Apply soothing products if recommended by your practitioner
• Avoid sun exposure and tanning and use SPF 30+ daily on treated areas
• Do not wax, pluck, or epilate between sessions — shaving is permitted
