Before your scheduled hair removal session, please refrain from tweezing, electrolysis, or hair waxing for six weeks. Avoid tanning or sun exposure, including tanning creams, as tan skin cannot be treated. If you have a history of cold sores or herpes, inform us in advance for potential antiviral therapy. Ensure any surface hair is shaved, and your skin is clean and dry, free from makeup, cream, or oils. Shave the treatment area 24h before or on the same day as your session.
For most people, this means it may take two to three weeks to see any significant results of this treatment. Many patients opt to take time off of work for at least 10 to 14 days for this reason. You may notice the best results of your resurfacing treatment about 30 days after your appointment.
